Welcome to Arizona! At the turn of the 20th Century, Arizona was still considered too wild and lawless to be granted statehood. A lot has changed since we joined the Union in 1912. However, our state’s natural beauty is timeless. Of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Arizona is home to the only one in North America, and it happens to be the grandest of them all, The Grand Canyon! Several tours are available including an all-day train ride to and from the South Rim via the Grand Canyon Railroad. Another famous natural landmark, the Meteor Crater, will be visited—along with one of the two remaining Harvey Houses for lunch, a tour, and train watching along the busiest east-west corridor on the BNSF mainline. Northern Arizona is also home to the Red Rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Travel along with the world famous “Pink Jeeps” as they explore some of the back country of Arizona only accessible by four-wheel drive. See nesting bald eagles as you enjoy a leisurely ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad, or drive past the site of the westernmost “battle” of the Civil War as you visit Tucson for a day of breathtaking desert beauty and, of course, more toy trains at the Toy Train Operating Museum. The Phoenix area has everything from a huge collection of historic firefighting apparatus, Major League Baseball’s most unique stadium, the world’s tallest fountain, and gourmet cooking classes that will delight the palates of all who attend. The usual convention dinner cruise challenged us in our arid climate, so we opted for a Mexican Fiesta, replete with a rodeo that you will surely not want to miss!

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO ENTER THE TRADING HALL ON THE LOWER BALLROOM LEVEL OF THE MARRIOTT.
